CHANGES IN STAMP DUTY AFFECTING BUYERS

With effect from 3rd September 2008 properties costing £175,000 or less became exempt from Stamp Duty.  The £175,000 threshold (up from £125,000) will remain in place up to and including 2nd September 2009.
